Adult Softball Leagues
The Field Sports Indoor Adult Softball leagues include 6 total weeks of play, 5 weeks of regular season play and a single elimination tournament held the last week. Teams will play 2 games each week. Each game will be 40 minutes in length, and include: 8 defensive players (2 outfielders). Team registration only, with a maximum of 15 players per team. Texas Shoot-out rules apply. Basic Rules of Field Sports Arena Softball:
- 40 minute game or 5 innings (whichever ends first).
- Offense gets 16 pitches per inning. No 3 out rule. Score as much as you can!
- Texas Shoot rules (start with a 3-2 count). One foul allowed.
- 8 defensive players on field.
- Full roster bats (batting order submitted to umpire before game).
- Balls may be played off netting for outs.
- Automatic homerun areas.
- Defense scores 1/2 point for every out recorded.
*Coed Leagues will be required to maintain a 2:1 male/female batting roster with at least 3 females playing defensively.
